"After our first IVF procedure ended sadly with a miscarriage at seven weeks, my husband and I wanted to maximize our success at our second attempt at IVF and decided to see Dr. Marjorie Singler. She had been highly recommended by another couple we had met at the infertility clinic who were successful with their IVF cycle. My husband and I were both challenged with fertility at the ages of 41 and 37, respectively. We both started treatments with Chinese herbs and acupuncture. I started seeing Marjorie for acupuncture treatments in November of 2004 after two unsuccessful attempts at IVF. The first embryo transfer resulted in a chemical pregnancy, the second resulted in pregnancy but I miscarried at seven weeks. In February of 2005, after several months of acupuncture treatment, I had my third and final transfer using three frozen embryos. Two of the embryos took, resulting in healthy and beautiful twins, Evan and Claire. I firmly believe acupuncture played a large part in my ability to conceive and carry two babies to term.
